Catherine West is a proven leader, with experience in non-profit, philanthropic, research, business, and government sectors. As the Founder of 43 Strategic Consulting, Catherine brings over 20 years of experience in health equity strategy, policy, and program implementation. Her previous experience includes serving as a leader on behalf of the MADPH Commissioner’s Office for the COVID-19 Vaccine Equity Initiative to close inequities in vaccination rates among black, indigenous and people of color. Liaising among state government leaders, Catherine supported advancing health equity policy, increasing funding to community partners, and using data to continuously refine strategy and drive impact. Previously, Catherine has supported MassHealth with performance management of health plans addressing homelessness, housing insecurity, and food insecurity. She understands and appreciates multiple stakeholder perspectives as she has launched and scaled health equity initiatives for Steward Health Care Network Medicaid ACO, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Gilead Sciences, Inc., and Children’s Hospital in Oakland, CA.
